If you are following a program with a laid-out calendar you might be wondering what you do if you miss a day, or two, or three. First, give yourself grace because it will happen. Second, set "the table" or set your expectations that you will miss a workout. Third, depending on the program you are following, there might be a 'makeup' day on your calendar.
You want to give a muscle group rest so you don't do two core days in a row, or two leg days in a row. If you missed one day simply add a day of cardio. If you missed three days, repeat that week the following week. When all else fails...add in some feel-good, heart-pumping cardio to fill the gaps.
